Rest in Peace: Helen Wittreich

 

WITTREICH HELEN M. WITTREICH (nee Petrish), passed away peacefully at Parkside Villa Nursing Home on Friday, October 31, 2014 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of 40 years to the late Joseph. Dearest mother of Ronald (Michelle) and Janet Regal (Ronald). Dearest sister of Emma Borosh and Joseph Pertrish (both deceased). Grandmother to Robert Boehm (Adrienne) and Thomas Boehm (Stephanie). Daughter of the late Paul and Mary Petrish (nee Kasarda). Many nieces, nephews and friends. Born and raised in Barton, Ohio by the Tirpak family, Helen came to Cleveland in the late 1930's where she met her husband Joe. They were married on June 6, 1942 and together operated Joe's Bike Shop for over 40 years. Family would like to express their gratitude to Parkside Villa and all of the staff on Juniper Wing for the excellent care she received for over 8 years. Special thanks to "Booshka Brian" for his exceptional kindness and the loving care he provided Helen. Known as "Polka Helen" at Parkside, she enjoyed dancing polkas and loved Frank Moravcik Polka Band and rarely missed an opportunity to see them. She will be greatly missed and touched the lives of all who knew her. Friends may call at GOLUBSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5986 RIDGE ROAD, PARMA, FROM 1-8 P.M. ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2014. Prayer service 9:15 A.M. on Tuesday, November 4 at the funeral home. Funeral Mass 10 A.M. at St. Leo the Great Church, 4940 Broadview Rd., Cleveland, Ohio. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
