The website for the Cathedra of the Diocese of Cleveland has a good brief summary of all the sacraments here.

The Sacrament of Baptism

Both parents and godparents are asked to attend a pre-baptismal session before the Baptism of their first child. We discuss the theology of the sacrament, the symbolism of the ceremony, qualifications of the godparents, and the responsibility of parents to raise their child in the Catholic faith. Please call the Rectory Office to make arrangements at 216-661-1006.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation

Opportunities to celebrate God’s forgiveness in one’s life are available on Saturday afternoons from 2:45-3:30 p.m. or by appointment with a priest.

The Sacrament of Matrimony

Engaged couples are asked to contact Fr. Schmitz at least six months before their desired wedding date. No reservations for reception halls should be made before checking whether the church and priest is available for the desired date.

Eucharist for the Homebound

Parishioners who are Eucharistic Ministers bring Communion to the homebound on a monthly basis. If you know someone who is homebound and would like to receive Communion at home, please call the Rectory Office.

The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick

Ordinarily, Catholic hospital chaplains routinely anoint the patients. In case of an emergency, contact the Rectory Office. Please press 6 for an emergency, if calling when the office is closed.
