Rest In Peace Ann Sazpansky

Ann M. Sazpansky (nee Blaha) passed to her eternal reward on September 21. She lived a full, blessed life dedicated to her family, her Church, and her friends. She was always willing to give to others and her kindnesses will be missed.

Ann was the devoted wife to her husband of 68 years, John, mother to Suzanne Naiman (Jim), Joan German (Bill), and Scott Sazpansky (Heidi). She was the grandmother of Jennifer Weldon, Billy German, Sara Naiman, and Jessica Travers.  Her joy of family continued with her great-grandchildren Finley Weldon, and Billy and Addee German.

She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Christine Blaha and siblings Henry Blaha and Christine Hriczik.

Her active and rich life included volunteering at the Brecksville Veterans Hospital, past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion Post 469, and precinct committeeman for the former Cleveland Ward 9.  She served St. Leo Catholic Church as president of the  Altar and Rosary Society and as a member of the funeral choir.

Friends and neighbors are invited to remember her life at Fortuna Funeral Home, 7076 on Tuesday, September 25 for visitation 3-5 and 6-8 p.m. and at the funeral mass at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 4940 Broadview Road, on Wednesday, 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

Emma passed away Monday September 17, 2018. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday September 22, 2018 at 10am at St. Leo the Great, 4940 Broadview Rd., Cleveland (please meet at church).
