She was born July 2, 1986 and grew up in Parma. Caitlin graduated from Padua Franciscan High School in 2004 and John Carroll University in 2008. After graduation she went on to teach her love of Spanish at Avon High School. She was deeply loved and respected by her co-workers and definitely by her students. Caitlin loved her teaching career and it showed in her classroom, always displaying a Spanish cultural environment, and unique and fun methods of learning the language.
Caitlin had an immense love of traveling and truly enjoyed her many trips to Spain, even studying abroad. She wanted to live and learn the culture and language of Spain so as to inspire her students with first hand experiences.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Todd David Kacher, loving father Tim Soucek, brothers Kevin (Mary) and Brian, and sister, Laura; in-laws, Mark and Marlene Mroz, brother in-law, Bret (Anita) Kacher, nieces, Leah and Athena, and nephew, Noah.
Funeral Mass will take place at 10 AM on Monday April 15, 2019 at St. Leo the Great Church 4940 Broadview Rd., Old Brooklyn, OH. (MEET AT CHURCH). The family will receive friends on Sunday April 14, 2019 at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Rd. Fairview Park, OH from 3-7 PM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
