Rest In Peace Janet L. Lajewski

JANET L. LAJEWSKI, 81, passed away March 22, 2017. Loving daughter of the late Antoni and Josephine; sweet baby sister to Evelyn Wasik and deceased brothers and sisters; caring and compassionate aunt to so many, even friends of family called her “Aunt Janet”. She was very close with her sister, Evelyn whom she shared a special friendship in growing closer. She was given best of care in the comfort of her own home from her devoted niece Jan and nephew Michael with the help of care givers Linda, Cathy, Phyllis and Nina. Janet lived the last 8 years of her life battling cancer but not once did this illness shake her Catholic Faith. Though her body became weak, her strength grew in spirit, rarely giving into her pain. Her life was lived for the Lord and we know and believe she is happy to finally be back “home” with Him and all of her family that has gone before her. She will be remembered for her quiet loving nature, love of children, and being a Tribe fan, but mostly for her unwavering faith and the bright and honest smile she’s shared with many. Mass of Christian Burial St. Leo the Great Church, 4940 Broadview Rd., Cleveland on Friday, March 31 at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the TOMON & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 4772 PEARL RD. (N. OF BROOKPARK RD.), CLEVELAND ON THURSDAY, MARCH 30, 2017 FROM 4-8 P.M.
