Ladies, all ages, no matter where you are in

your faith journey, please join us!

Meetings are help typically every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:30p.m. in the Parish Center.

We meet to connect and LIFT each other up as we grow our relationship with God and learn to live more intentionally and prayerfully in our Journeys as women of the faith. Join us as we continue to learn, share and stay inspired through prayer, guided topics of discussion, presentations and testimonies of faith. Light refreshments are typically served.

Christmas Caroling | December 13, 2025 @ 5:00p.m. in the PC

Looking for people to come and walk some nearby streets of Old Brooklyn to spread some Christmas cheer --singing Christmas carols and hymns for all to hear! Come be a part of the Christmas Spirit! We will meet after the 4 o'clock vigil in the Parish Center to gather, have a bite to eat and connect with people of the Faith before heading out to Bright the night with our voices!

HElp the homeless

Malachi Center at W. 25th St. and Detroit Ave. provides many services to help homeless men and women throughout the year. This Christmas season, the Center is distributing reusable plastic and/or canvas grocery bags to help our less fortunate friends. Bags will be filled with newly purchased personal items such as heavy socks, hats, gloves, scarves, soap, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, toothpaste, lotion, snacks, hand and foot warmers, batteries, extra -large and larger sweatshirts, and many other similar items. If you would like to donate bags and/or other items, please bring your donation to the rectory by Nov 23. Items should be tagged “Help the Homeless.” Please note that we are not accepting used clothing at this time. Your overwhelming generosity last year to this cause was heartwarming. Let’s do it again this year. Thank you so much.

Topics/Meeting Flow: Now that our group dynamic has shifted a bit, what would we like to see explored in coming meetings (and beyond). Group book study. Bring ideas for a book we can read as a group. This will give us common themes and reflections to explore together. We will accept any thoughts but will only move forward with a book that everyone is comfortable with. Our Mass intention and Sanctuary Candle Request for 2026 will open on Thursday, September 4, 2025 after morning Mass. 1 Weekend Mass and 1 Weekday or 2 Weekdays will be accepted requests at this time. There is a stipend of $10 each Mass. A Sanctuary Candle Request runs for 2 weeks and is $10. Limit 1 per year. At the beginning to the new year we will allow for additional Masses to be requested. The initial limit is a courtesy so that everyone has a chance at the dates they prefer. Please remember, God surpasses all time—the importance and blessing is that Mass is being celebrated, no matter the date/time.

Fr. LaCanne will be visiting our parish next weekend September 6th and 7th to speak at all the Masses on behalf of Cross Catholic Outreach, which was founded to forge a stronger and more supportive link between parishes in America and the priests and nuns serving the poor in the Caribbean, Africa, Southeast Asia, and Central and South America. Please welcome the priest visiting our parish next weekend. He comes to us from Cross Catholic Outreach and will share some touching stories about the amazing work Catholic missions are accomplishing worldwide. Since Cross Catholic Outreach empowers existing Catholic missions, its programs are extremely cost-effective, and the vast majority of the resources it collects go into program services that help the poorest of the poor around the world.
