WILLIAM S. WACHENSCHWANZ age 55. Passed thursday November 29, 2018 at his home in Cleveland surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Beloved husband of Lorri (nee Peck). Cherished father of Kayla Millsaps (Tony) and Tabitha (Steven Foust). Dearest Son of the late Mary Kruszunski. Brother of Ed Lockbaum and brother in law of Kathy Tapp (late Marvin), Sharon Canterbury (late Denny),  Sue Peck (late Linzie), John Peck, Jr. (deceased) (Vickie), Darleen Adkins (late Jack), Chris Kinser (late Glenn), Liz Borgiou (Paul), Allen Peck (Charlotte) (both deceased), Joann Nelson (deceased) (Roger) and Chuck Peck. Beloved uncle, cousin and friend to many. 

He worked for Fox 8 TV for more than 30 years and was President of the NABET CWA Local 42. RVP region 6. He loved being there for the people he represented and  tried to make sure they were taken care of. Bill was just an all around great person who always there to help anyone, whether it be family, friend or co-worker. His life was is family and his work. 

Funeral services at the funeral home Wednesday December 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM. Interment West Park Cemetery. Friends received Tuesday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH (West of I-71).

Rest in Peace Carolyn Geniusz

Carolyn Geniusz, 75, passed away Friday November 23, 2018. Beloved wife of Kenneth for 54 years. Loving mother of Laureen (Gerard) Kehoe and Brian (Ann). Dear Grandmother of Katie and Abby and Conor. 

After graduating from JF Rhodes High School in Cleveland, Carolyn earned a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s College and a master’s degree from Mount St. Joseph’s University, in Cincinnati. She taught elementary school in the Cleveland area for over 33 years, her last 24 years in the Brunswick City Schools. In 1996, Carolyn was honored as the “1996-97 TEACHER OF THE YEAR” while teaching at Towslee Elementary School. She retired from teaching 1997.

Throughout her career, “Mrs. Geniusz” was dedicated to her work and to her students. Outside of teaching Carolyn particularly enjoyed, gardening, traveling, lunching with friends, shopping, winters in Florida, boating and time with her grandchildren and family. Her husband Ken, was seldom far from her side during their 54 year marriage. 

Carolyn passed away suddenly on Friday, November 23, 2018 from complications due to lung cancer. She will be sorely missed.
