Rest in peace Kathleen Haines, (nee Babroski), joined her Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 14, 2022. Loving mother of Kristin Boyle (Bryan), Theresa Permenter (Benjamin), and Stephen Haines; beloved Baba to Kaylin and Kevyn Boyle and Robert Permenter; daughter of Lucille Babroski; sister of Daniel Babroski (Cindy), twin sister of Jerry Babroski (Becky), sister of Maria Polk and niece of Annette Gorris (Craig). She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Babroski and brother, John Babroski. Kathy was devoted to her grandchildren and was a spirited Jazzerciser. She was a long time lover of Cleveland baseball and celebrating Dyngus Day with her family, and she was always having fun. Kathy had a passion for baking and was known for her famous baked beans. She was an overall positive force in the community, working as a nurse throughout her career. Kathy enjoyed volunteering at the Metroparks, especially in her retirement, participating in a frog study. She was truly a special friend to many. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, July 22 at 11am at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 4940 Broadview Rd., Cleveland, 44109 and friends and family are invited to gather at Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129 at 10am for a prayer service.
