Rest in peace Walter Pasela, age 101, passed away peacefully June 13, 2022 with this family present. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary of 62 years. Loving father of James (Tammy) and David. Loving grandfather of Jessica Florea (Cristian) and Amanda Zingale (Anthony). Great grandfather of Michael and Annabelle. Son of the late Joseph and Mary. Brother of the late Theodore, Alosius, Helen, Jean, Julia and Monica. Army Veteran WWII (1942-1946) and one of the esteemed Ritchie Boys during WWII. Walter never wavered in the love of his country. Walter's love of his family will live on in those that he left behind. 101 years of living, laughing, loving and hard work. In recent years Walter was able to make and enjoy many new friends that made his life journey much more enjoyable. Walter will be missed but never forgotten. Family will receive friends in celebration of Walter's life at the RICZO FUNERAL HOME, 7462 STATE RD, PARMA (JUST SO. OF PLEASANT VALLEY RD) where services will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 9:15 AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Leo the Great Church at 10:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. VISITATION FRIDAY 2-4 AND 6-8 PM.
